Drop Zone Riddim

The riddim named Drop Zone riddim came to me as I was holding a vybz listening to some Dave Kelly riddims like the Bruck Out and Bookshelf riddims.

 

The inspiration drafted from that 90’s element of the hardcore dancehall riddims, which were hits in that era.

 

That kind of feeling of authentic beat drove me to build the Drop Zone Riddim, using a range of different synth Phrases with the typical raw Dancehall drum pattern adding a sharp snare drum to accompany the heavy kick and bassline, it snapped together and gelled like glue.

 

Froggy MaddSquad and myself had a reasoning after I sent him the instrumental and Froggy said “ Yuh know mi can hear Alozade pun dis” and from there, we started to fuse together some artists on the riddim.

 

"Drop Zone Riddim" also features on Delly Ranx EP produced by Reble World Records called “Chapter 3 Epic Dancehall” a track called “Born Alone” which is doing very well around the world.

 

"Drop Zone Riddim" features artists like Froggy MaddSquad, BabyBoom, Malika, Xean Don, Alozade, Earthworm, Gappy Ranx, Jeffery Mykals, Delly Ranx, Knock Shizzle, Ill Mega, Young Fella (Zimbabwe) and also Hitman.
